Official State Brake and Light Inspection Station in Tustin

Tustin residents can now visit us at Chapman Auto Repair, to get a state Brake and Lamp inspection. We are a state licensed facility to perform these inspections for residents of Tustin and surrounding Orange County cities.

Your vehicle may have been in an accident, a theft recovery or has been cited for some infraction of the law requiring a Brake and Lamp inspection. Our certified technicians have been trained to provide this additional service at our shop and use required equipment and perform these inspections to state regulated standards.

The brake inspection involves, but is not limited to checking brake drum and rotor thickness along with brake lining thickness. All rubber brake hoses are inspected to check for any cracks or other faults. Additional areas are checked according to state standards. Lamp inspections revolve around the functioning of exterior lighting and integrity of all lenses as they cannot be broken. Lighting must be properly aimed for driving safety. Other areas are also checked according to state rules.
